I'm memoBEN, a pen name derived from my real name 'Benjamas'. I'm an ordinary bookworm who loves science and is passionate about the lush greenery of plants, which led me to study agricultural science. I never imagined that one day a stormy cloud of gloom would lead me to a new path as an 'illustrator', piecing together my broken fragments on thin sheets of paper...

2019 - 2021
From full-time employee to unemployed during COVID-19, I faced a period of deep despair, dwindling savings, and the first step of getting to know "anxiety disorder". It was a torturous time, but at the same time, it was the final battle that forced me to "give my all" to pull myself out of that hole.

2022 - Present
At the end of 2021, "memboo paper ball" was fully formed. Although I had never drawn before, I practiced until I discovered my own distinctive style and received encouragement from everyone's positive feedback.

In my studio, there's more than just paper and pens. I love living a life where I get to do various things: baking cookies that fill the house with aroma, needlework, or brewing strong cocoa on bitter days. I believe that happiness is infused in everything I do, so I intentionally created this space to share what makes me smile, and I hope it brings a smile to you too.
